how can it be the end??

Okay so I just got done watching The West Wing, and let me tell you, it was outstanding.

Here's my problem. It's March 30th. Next week, it'll be April...wait...the 9th is Saturday, that's when we leave for our cruise...8th is Friday, 7th is Thursday...it'll be April 6th. The season finale of The West Wing is then...the season finale!

How can that be?!? How can it be the end of the season already?? What happened to May sweeps? This is unbelievable...I must call NBC, surely there's a feedback form of some kind I can fill out, some survey I can participate in where I can show my displeasure at this most unfortunate of events.

hmm...the series finale of Nick & Jessica is on now...maybe I'll watch that...

Oh, I'm testing a new blog forwarding device, so if you receive this in your email and wish to comment, please do so. I hope you don't mind a little extra mail cluttering your already cluttered email boxes...surely you don't mind a little more Mattie. :)

...this, I swear...

did you hear the one about terry's dog?

Okay then, I won't tell that joke.

So I'd like to know if anybody is reading my little online journal here and if so, I'd like to ask for your comments...

How do you feel about the Terry Schiavo situation?

In case you've been under a rock the last 2 weeks, you know about Terry Schiavo. There's recent news today that there will be a court ruling regarding the re-insertion of her feeding tube. I think at present, her feeding tube has been removed now for 13 days.

Do you think her husband had the right to make the decision to remove her feeding tube? Do her parents have the right to keep fighting to have it re-inserted? Where do you stand?

Personally, I think that her husband made the right choice. Terry is legally brain-dead...he claims this is what she would want. She really can have no hope for a regular life from this point on. I think it's the right thing to do to let her die.

So what do you think?

feels like a Monday...but it's not

So I had two days off...Sunday, which was Easter, and Monday, which was not Easter...got a lot of stuff done at the house on Monday which was good, but back at work today.

I've got to key in a ton of observations, but that's not a big deal...for those that don't know, I work as a Sales Team Manager for Cingular Wireless in one of their national sales call centers. I manage a team of 14 reps (14 at the moment, my team has ranged from 12-17 reps at any given time), and I have to perform call observations on them every month. I normally do my call observations during the month and write them down on paper then key them into the system at the end of the month. I know it seems like double-work, but when we have so much time between calls, sometimes it might be 20 minutes before I get a call worth scoring, and the system times out after like 10 minutes of inactivity, so I found it counter-productive to try and key them in simultaneously while I listened.

And that was an entire paragraph on something you probably could care less about...ahh, the beauty of weblogs. :)

...and there it is...I'm ready to go home.

so this is Saturday

Another day, another dollar...then two days off.

Thank God.

I'm sitting in my cubicle office in the palatial sales center of Cingular Wireless...listening to ESPN Radio on the computer...and addressing the needs of the reps on the floor as needed.

I'm bored as heck. If you know of something cool to do, won't you let me know what it is?

No plans tonight...lots of plans tomorrow and Monday...

The countdown is on....14 days until Cruise #2.

Oh happy day!

just another Thursday night

...and right as I start to type this, Ray Snow, a good friend of mine here at Cingular, walks up to me and says "hello". He just got back from the Bahamas, from our annual rewards trip called Cingular Summit. He's made it 4 out of 5 years we've run that thing...pretty impressive.

I love coffee, I'd just like to go on record as saying that.

so yeah, it was just another Thursday night. CB came over and we started to edit some of his MDs that he has been holding onto for a while. I watched some basketball...oh, I watched the premiere of "The Office" on NBC...pretty good show. Steve Carell is pretty damn funny, although the show moved slow at times. Maybe that's because of the lack of a laugh track. It's sort of like "Scrubs" in that way, but it's pretty funny. I'll give it a few more episodes before I pass major judgement.

this is the rare week for me...working 6 days straight without an off-day. Normally when you're scheduled to work Saturday's, you get a comp day during the week you can take. But this is Spring Break week, so the week was already full...so I had to take my comp day on Monday the 28th...so I'm working the whole week this week.

only 2 weeks until Cruise #2. :)

welcome to the blog

well now...

I guess this is welcome, hello and how are you?

I figured it was time for a change, so here's the change. What all is happening in my life? Cingular, marriage, friends, the Barons, West Wing, AFL, iW, fantasy baseball...you know, the usual.

No more WoW...for now at least. Guild Wars looks nice.

I gotta remember to send this out...
